Nicka K Lipsticks

Bought 2 lipsticks by Nicka K today at shoppers world(the sell nicka k at beauty supply stores and local drugstores) they were $1.50. They usually have the names on display on the rack that they are sold on but I didnt see the ones that I got on the list. I just found them randomly..

Pink tint and lavender tint. 

I know you like my nails btw. I may do a tutorial on youtube.

Lavender tint- this is the one that caught my eye, its a light pink with purple undertones

Pink tint- True barbie pink

Mail!

i ordered some stuff..it came in the mail...

so from ebay i got some lashes.. I also ordered anti-fungal cream for my scalp..i heard that miconizole nitrate works to stimulate hair growth..people have gotten results of 1-2inches a month of hair growth when the average is 1/2in. Usually they get monistat/vag cream but they say it works as long as the key ingredient is in there...i got 6 tubes of 1oz each for about $13..much cheaper than the monistat yeast infection cream. I will put a vid up after the month of use.

Satin scarf braid out: 4 cornrows

So if you didnt see my very first satin scarf braid out check that out..its 2 posts previous to this one. Recap: for the 8 braid braid out i did braids and didn't like it very much.

---so this time i did cornrows straight downwards with only 4. first i dampened my hair with a conditioner water mix and than braided it..I woke up and removed them...

Love the results:)..dont really know if i will do this more than a plain wash and go because the curls kinda look the same with both styles, however, the braid out is more tame. i like how i can wake up and go with the braid out but i have a hard time cornrowing because of my very long acrylics:/...also i like to do my hair in the mornings lol...tell me what you think..btw this is a pic from my april favorites vid on youtube..check it out:) youtube.com/theiceiing

L.A Colors Trios!

So I went to my local dollar tree and saw the trios! I decided why not? its only a dollar and i heard they were pretty good..so i got two of the ones that had colors i would wear. 

left: boardwalk right: southern belle

These are much much better than the palettes with 5 shadows in them. I have one of the 5 palette ones and 3 of the mineral shadows

they 5 palette is in the color "stormy"...very chalky and not pigmented. for the mineral ones, i have teal, gold. and purple...the purple isnt very good and the teal is ridiculously pigmented. I suggest never getting the 5 palette ones...

1st Satin scarf braid out

I decided to try something new with my hair because I guess i got bored lol..so I was on youtube of course and came across a satin braid out queen! www.youtube.com/ZanAndRob ,she inspired me to try it out...so i did..


I used my leave in conditioner mix which consists of Infusium 23, Paul mitchell's leave in conditioner. I also used my miss jesse's quick curls so that it could have some hold to it. last but not least I needed satin strips so i cut up my bed sheet lol!..I dont use the sheet so yeah:/ and also if i want to still cover up with it I have a lot left lol....ANYWAYS..So I cut up the strips to be about 2 inches thick and braided them into my hair...I had 8 braids total

       

 So here were the results..they were not fully dry. They were about 95 % dry when i took them out... the ends look scraggly so I will have to adjust accordingly..im not in love with the results but i will try it on my straight hair and im sure ill love it..im also gonna try it with less braids.
